Family/Support Information

We encourage families and members of patients’ support networks to participate in treatment as much as possible, as well as visit on the weekends during designated times.

Please note: Unless a patient has completed and signed a Release of Information form specifically with your name on it, we cannot confirm or deny if a patient is in treatment with us.

Family Sessions

  • Each patient is offered and encouraged to participate in Family Therapy twice a month.

  • Family members are able to participate via video chat if they are unable to be present in person.

Phone calls

  • Phone calls: After the Acclimation Period of 3 days patients are permitted to make phone calls from the facility phone. After the 5-day Acclimation Period patients are permitted to have their personal cell phones and electronics. Phones and electronics must remain in patients’ bedrooms during all scheduled programming and may be used during breaks or after programming has ended for the day.

  • Messages may be left on our voicemail or with a staff member by calling 916-293-9667 and will be passed on to patients after programming has ended for the day.

Visits

  • Patients may receive visitors on Saturday mornings following a 7-day wait period.

  • Visitors must present a valid photo ID, sign in, agree to confidentiality of all individuals associated with the treatment facility, and are not permitted to bring in purses or bags of any kind.

Packages and letters

  • If you would like to send a letter or package to a patient, please address these to PO Box 1015 Riley Street #1580 Folsom, CA 95763 where they will be checked twice a week.

  • All packages and letters received by patients will be opened by patients in the presence of program staff, and items reviewed for appropriateness and safety for possession during treatment.

  • Before sending packages to a patient, please review the list of items not permitted during treatment.
